If you have always wanted to learn to dive or are simply curious about scuba diving, then a Try Dive with Teddington Sub-Aqua Club is the perfect introduction!
In the safe confines of the Teddington Pool, a BSAC Instructor will introduce you to the basic skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time. Try Dives cost £20.
A typical Try Dive session lasts about one hour. It involves poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in our pool with a BSAC-qualified instructor. We can run Try-Dives most Wednesday evenings at Teddington Pool. Please note, minimum age is 12 years old.

I had wanted to try diving for a long time, as a friend was a member of the club, he suggested I booked a try dive. I really enjoyed it, so much so I booked onto the Ocean Diver course the following week. Everyone at the club was so welcoming and I felt at home straight away.
My son had a try diving experience tonight arranged via Turing House School. He had an absolutely awesome experience!!! The instructors were so warm and welcoming and are clearly very experienced. A special thanks to 'H' who gave 1:1 instructions. We would highly recommend this club.
I started diving with the Club in the late '90s and haven't looked back. Such a friendly bunch of people with a shared interest. Every trip is different and always great fun. Being an instructor with the Club has also been a very rewarding experience. Having more experienced divers and instructors on hand to advise helps too.
I have been a member of Teddington Sub Aqua Club since its inception in 1997. It is small and friendly and members meet frequently for training, diving and social activities. Training takes place in Teddington Pool and we dive in the UK, Egypt, Mexico, Malta and the Caribbean.
A very mixed bunch of like minded people. Good for any age or experience with helpful well qualified instructors. Definitely learn at your own pace, fast or slow.
I’ve been with this club ever since it first started even though I no longer live in the London area. It has as a varied dive programme each year both in the UK and abroad. The club also has a full compliment of qualified instructors and its own equipment.
